    I am so relieved tht one great champion, Michael Johnson (about whom I knew next to NOTHING before Usain Bolt) has the saavy, the dignity, and the all-around class to congratulate another champion, Mr. Bolt. To be quite honest, I was shocked and *devestated* that my up-until-recently-favorite ALL TIME champion , Ian Thorpe could not show the same amount of basic human dignity. For a while, I thought that the Thorpedo was the class of all athletes (and men). Now it's obvious that either Michael Johnson is either the class of both, or Mr. Thorpe is the class of nothing.
